WHY WE MAKE FILMS
- We believe we can live in a better world
- Film is the greatest tool for inspiration
- An image is NOT worth a thousand words. Words are far more important than that. What we do, our passion, is to do with the image what language, good language, does with words.
- We want to feel like the way did when we saw movies as kids. The excitement, the sense of wonder, the possibility to reach out and grasp a new vision of reality; a new horizon. We want to feel like that again- and we want our viewers to feel like that again.
- We hate Trump and what he represents (No offense, Trump voters, but please don’t contact us 🙂 ).
Long Distance Directing (LDD)
Our internationally recognized film directors with many film awards under their belts will help you direct your set by virtually being with you on it. We have done this several times so far with our director in Vancouver, directing a crew in London; our director in LA, directing a crew in Prague; and our director in Toronto, directing a crew in New Delhi. The results have been tremendously successful. We believe this is the future and we are happy to be (among) the pioneers. Tune in and get in touch to learn more.
Do you have a message you want the world to hear?
We get the word out by creating hard hitting content that will have an impact.

CINEMA IS TRUTH 24 TIMES PER SECOND
There are five elements that are the most important in the making a film and they are the story, the story, the story, the story and the story! The fact is you can make a bad film with a good story, but you cannot make a good film with a bad story. Simple as that. At Urban Film Guerrillas we take the time to get to know you so that we can tell your story the best way possible.
In order to enter into the production phase with confidence we would need to work with you to understand your goals, and the impact you expect your film or video to produce. We will do that at the pre-production stage.
After having carefully planned the filming we enter the production phase. Here efficiency is key. The goal is to get the best possible outcome by spending the least amount of time and money on the set. Our well-organized and highly creative crew are trained to just do that.
Editing is when you put all the pieces you have filmed together and give your beautiful but lifeless footage, life! Perhaps this is the most exciting part of the filmmaking process. Our award-winning editors are capable of doing wonders at this most rewarding stage of the game.
Having gone through all the previous processes, now is the time to deliver. We will provide your video in Full HD quality to be uploaded to the internet or be screened on TV/film screens.
If your goal is to build an audience through a promotional campaign via social networks, we can do that for you. Outreach is all about being there- with passion and a sense of humour!
Long Distance Directing (LDD)
This is an exclusive offer as we don’t yet know of any other film company or film maker who offers this. This is how it works; once you get on your set, we’re going to connect with you via Skype. There is a simple device you need to connect to your computer so our director at the other end will see exactly what your monitor is seeing. And from there on, the rest will be easy. Whether you’re conducting an interview or directing actors we will help you get the best results possible by giving you feedback on set up and filming, suggesting ideas and even directly communicating with your crew.
